Back in Paradise.....

I had to renew my Visa so I went on a long ass taxi ride to the Cambodian border. On the way back Na ani I have stopped at Koh Samed (island) to meet up with her sister and her sister's husband. It's Ning's (Na's sister) birthday tomorrow, so were here to help her celebrate. I'll post some pictures once I get back to Jomtien, but this place is beautiful....I'm so lucky to be here....

Mikey, you so totally rock! I'm so happy for you, yet again. I hope that you guys have fun this weekend! Drink one for me.

Well I'm starting to get real nervous about the house situation. I'm short on some money for it, and the money that is still in probate seems to be evading me. I'm told it's going to be there, by today in fact and it's still not....grrrrrrrrr!! I swear I'm about to have a heart attack...so wish me luck and put those bracelets to work everyone! I need it right now.

Sara, it's so good to hear from you!!!! I miss you so much and Louise reads this page now, so I'm sure she got your message. We have been throwing around Mikey and Harvey stories like crazy now. I know so much more about you boys...like I said, it just makes me feal more like I'm part of your family...and I LOVE your family!!!

Love to everyone...I miss you ALL so freakin much and can't wait to see you all! Come visit, ps.. once I get the house anyways.

Kisses, Dorri

Hi Mickey (Harvey Ryan Alex Louise EtAl The whole dam family )
First let me congratulate you on a job well done, but we have come to expect that kind of performance from you. Mickey you are the man.
Then let me apologize for not communicating for such a long time. I have come to realize that I am a computer user and require an IT department to keep me on line. Kevin and, or, his friends crashed my computer just after I returned from Europe, and I had it fixed at Best Buy. That lased for a week or so, and I have not got around to taking it back. The excuses are long and varied. The restaurant that we bought takes quite a bite of time, but is doing FANTASTIC ( Mo Steve and Bobby are the only family members to eat there yet ) I have also taken on an additional project that just sort of fell into my lap. One of Kevin’s friends, Matt and his dad had a 1994 Corvette that would not pass smog, and they decided that they were good enough mechanics to fix it AND while they were at it ( You know the famous “while they were at it” ) they would modify the car and make it “fast, better, more efficient” well as often happens they proved to be very good at taking it apart. 2 years later I told Matt that I would buy it at a fair price for a basket case and a couple of weeks later there was a note on my door that indicated I was the owner of what turned out to be 4 truck and 2 car loads of Corvette parts. It has taken me a month to sort it out but I believe I will have it on the road to make a nice Christmas present for myself.
I am at Lisa house ( you know the place Lisa was remodeling on the ridge above Kahala that you visited on your trip through Hawaii, on your trip around the world ) with Maureen she just had an operation on her rotator cuff over here that turned out to be quite a bit more than just a tear repair. Suffice to say she will be setting off airport metal detectors from now on. She thought that she would be back in the saddle a week ago, but the doctor said that it would be next month before she can go home, and Lisa had to go out of town , I was talking to her Monday night and she sounded like shit. She said that Lisa’s friends were going to come by and check on her, but that sounded a little tentative so I jumped the first freighter and flew over here. As you know, not a bad place to be stuck for a week or so.
I hear rumors that you might be home for Christmas. We are planning to be up in Whidbey Island. Hope to see you. If not I am planning to come and visit you after the first of the year.
Enough of this book, until later
Love you
Patrick
