Have a very merry Christmas!
Well, today is Christmas in the land of smiles. I woke up today, and I didn't find any gifts under the tree. Is it because we have no chimney?....no xmas tree?....or have I just been too naughty? Maybe Santa just got too drunk last night. I saw him on walking street, and he was pretty buzzed. Pattaya had the
Christmas spirit though. All the go-go girls had their red bikini's on and the people outside had their Christmas gear on as well. Last week I heard on the television that boystown was going to have snow, so we took a walk through boystown to see the snow. It looked a little like snow, but it was really foam machines mounted above the shops. Not quite the same, but that's OK I didn't come here to see snow. Tonight were going in to Pattaya again to have a Christmas dinner. Several of the restaurants are putting on Turkey dinner buffets. That should just about cover the Christmas thing here in Thailand......next stop New Years. I think I'm gonna be up in Si Thep for that. So My New Years post will probably be a bit late. I hope this post finds all of you Happy and Healthy. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all!
(But it's always merry in the Land of Smiles ;)
27 hours of traveling later I made it home in one piece and not too worse for wear.
I may be up here in Colorado but I think I might have left something behind in Phattaya, Thailand-
Ten-trillion brain cells!
Oh, and a little bit of my heart.
We got a bunch of REAL SNOW up here and it all looks very South Park.
I'd most gladly trade you my snow for yours, Mike!
Brrrrrr~*
Happy New Year and Sawwatdee Khrab!
Hey worry-warts, I'm sure Mikey and Harvey are OK as Phattaya is far away from Phi Phi and Phuket where the major damage was felt in Thailand.
They are on a different coast, on a different body of water and protected by Tsunamis by the landmass of the Thai peninsula.
Send your positive vibrations to the people(s) of Sri Lanka and Southern India as well as all those unfortunate enough to bear the brunt of Mother Earth's wrath.
Peace out.
Sawwatdee Krahb!

That's not funny! What was I thinkin? But seriously I just wanted to say thank you everybody for your concern. As I am sure you all know we are well away from the affected area's but we were there a few months ago (Phukett A.K.A Patong Beach) and the last number I heard was about a thousand people died there and about one third of those were tourists. We haven't heard that much about Phi Phi Island or Rhilay (we were there also) but what we have heard wasn't good. I think Phi Phi is probobly pretty serious because it is very remote with not much high ground and this is tourist season. I gather it hit about 11:00 a.m. and nobody had any warning. I heard a guy on the local news who said he and his family watched it come in and didn't realize what it was until it was two late but somehow they survived. I think the people in the Hotels were not as lucky. Anyway think good thoughts for all those people in all those countrys. They need it and we are fine!
Lotsa Love
Harvey
