Honolulu
First stop Honolulu: Harvey and I arrived in town at 8:30 and went and found a hotel room at the Ohana towers. A nice place with a great view. It’s been years since I’ve been to Honolulu, but it hasn’t changed that much. Still reminds me of Hollywood Blvd. at the beach. As I write this is our second day in Honolulu. Last night was a total blast. We went to a sports bar called Legends and watched the Lakers lose. The good part is we got tipped off to the best party in town. At the Outrigger Waikiki hotel they have a bar on the beach called Dukes. It definitely was a fun place to party. The people are so friendly here. We met up with the guy who told us about Duke’s, and he introduced us to his table. Three girls from Georgia and a couple guys trying to pick them up or get them drunk then pick them up. Also met some fisherman guy from Samoa, and this dude Diego who could not stop buying drinks. I asked the Samoan dude to watch my chair while I went to the head. When I came back he was ready to kill this military guy who took the chair without asking. We ended up spending maybe ten bucks the whole time we were there. Diego was buying shots and beers, and at one point a bottle of Dom Perignon appeared. Tiny bubbles……….. We left about eleven to go to some strip club, which was fun, but the best part of the night was Duke’s. So now it’s Monday morning, and I’m a little hung over, but still smiling. Today we go to the North Shore I love the North Shore, It so like the Hawaii you dream about…Coconut palms sandy beaches and big waves…well sometimes I’ll let ya know at my next posting.
Bye for now.
